Sixth-year Corpus Christi College seminarian, Huy Nguyen, has been ordained as a deacon for the Archdiocese of Melbourne.
Deacon Huy was ordained on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at St Paul’s Parish in Sunshine West.
About 150 people attended the ordination Mass, which was celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop of Melbourne, Martin Ashe.
The occasion was supported by priests from the Archdiocese of Melbourne, staff and students from Corpus Christi College, as well as parishioners from across the Archdiocese.
Many watched the celebration on live-stream, including his family in Vietnam.
