The Trustees of Corpus Christi College visited the seminary on Friday, March 5.

Archbishop of Melbourne, Peter Comensoli, and his Auxiliary, Bishop Terry Curtin, joined Bishop Shane Mackinlay of Sandhurst, Bishop Paul Bird of Ballarat and Bishop Gregory Bennet of Sale for meetings in St George’s Hall at the seminary. Archbishop Julian Porteous of Hobart joined the Bishops for the meetings online via Zoom.

The Bishops’ program for the day included midday Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Carlton, with Archbishop Peter as the principal celebrant.

Bishop Shane was the homilist and the Corpus Christi schola led the congregation in music.

After the Mass, there was much conversation outside the Church between the Bishops and the staff and seminarians of Corpus Christi College.

The Bishop’s day continued afterwards with further meetings, while the students had study and Friday sport.
