The Catholic War Veterans Association annual Mass and luncheon was held on Sunday, 23 October, 2016.
The event provides an opportunity to pray for living and deceased war veterans, as well as to acknowledge newly ordained priests.
Fr Tao Pham, who is the most recently ordained priest of the Melbourne Archdiocese, was the principal celebrant at the Mass.
After Mass the Catholic War Veterans and their families enjoyed lunch with the seminarians thanks to chef, Jeff Blew.
A presentation was made by the Catholic War Veterans to this year’s newly ordained priests, which include Frs Geoff McIlroy, Tao Pham and Darien Stricklen.
Rector of Corpus Christi College, Fr Brendan Lane, thanked the veterans for their ongoing support of the seminary, which dates back to 1936.
